At the airport
While we’re in the Orange setting:
- Please allow a little more time to get to your flight.
- Some of our outlets may require you to show your My Vaccine Pass for entry.
- You must wear a face mask in our terminal and on any flight within New Zealand.
- Our frontline staff are always happy to assist you, so please ask them for any help you need.
Domestic air travel
If you have questions about travel within the traffic light settings, we recommend visiting the government website for accurate information.
International air travel
Visitors and tourists can still use international air services to travel home but commercial flights have been impacted. Do not come to the airport unless you have a ticket. If you do not have ticket, contact a travel agent or airline directly. If you can't get a ticket, please contact your country's embassy.
Domestic and international travellers coming to the airport can now get saliva-based COVID-19 pre-departure PCR tests from Rako Science. Located at Check-in, these tests are non-invasive and highly accurate with a fast turnaround time. Results include QR code verification which allows airlines and border authorities to verify authenticity online. Book online at rakoscience.com
Unichem Spitfire Square, five minutes’ walk from the terminal, offers certified RAT tests for $65. Opening hours (excluding statutory holidays) are Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Phone 03 358 6266 for enquiries and bookings.
