Getting There and Around whilst visiting Mt Cook

Christchurch International Airport is the nearest airport offering scheduled flights, and charter flights are available from local airstrips.  Timaru, the main centre of South Canterbury is a 2.5-hour drive from Christchurch.  The region is served well with coaches from all over.
