Coronet Peak – 25 minutes from Queenstown

The Remarkables - 45 minutes from Queenstown
Situated high in The Remarkables mountain range and surrounded by craggy peaks, The Remarkables Alpine Park provides a spectacular, true alpine environment.  Extending over 700 hectares of reserve land, there’s 220 skiable hectares accessed by three quad chairs within three sunny, wide open bowls.  From the first timer through to those who like to be challenged by narrow chutes, rock drops and off-piste powder, The Remarkables is all about fun, families, freestyle and the love of the big mountain environment.

Snow Park Ski Area – 45 minutes from Queenstown
Snow Park is the Southern Hemisphere’s first all-mountain freestyle resort, playing host to the world’s best freestyle athletes or those just wanting to try skiing and snowboarding. Situated high above the Cardrona Valley, , the park prides itself on its diversity of features and dedication to innovation.  The Snow Park’s array and variety of features takes on new meaning as New Zealand’s leading Terrain Park.  Features include a super pipe of international standard, beginner pipe, ride wall, quarter pipe, 40+ rails, boxes and hits of varying sizes for all abilities, two giant hips, snow skate area and an extensive new novice terrain.

Snow Farm Ski Area – 45 minutes from Queenstown
Snow Farm, situated in the Cardrona Valley is one of the best cross-country skiing fields in the Southern Hemisphere.  Snow Farm boasts over 50kms of groomed skating and classic trails and caters for all. Trails are groomed to an international standard.  Snow Farm offers both day and night skiing. Lessons with highly experienced and qualified instructors are available. 1500m high on the Pisa Range, you can enjoy the breathtaking views, whatever you are doing.  Other activities include tubing & sledding.
