Airport appoints Property General Manager

Blair Forgie, CIAL's General Manager Property

CIAL has appointed Blair Forgie as General Manager Property, a role which will see him taking responsibility for the implementation of CIAL’s new property strategy.  This strategy includes the development of a sizeable zone of vacant land holdings before 2018 under a $400 million program, resulting in service, freight and commercial precincts fulfilling the needs of a wide range of airport users.

CIAL acting Chief Executive Jim Boult said that the Board and Executive Team were pleased to welcome Blair officially to the company.  “Blair has been working for CIAL since the beginning of the year in an advisory role, and I am sure the Company will benefit from the depth of his extensive property knowledge.  His previous experience and contacts will be invaluable to CIAL, and leave him well placed to lead our property division through a large list of exciting projects”.

Blair is a Registered Valuer and Chartered Accountant and has most recently been an independent property consultant.  Previously Blair held positions with AMP Capital Investors and Ernst & Young.

Blair’s appointment is effective immediately.
